Washington D.C.
We are on our final vacation before heading overseas. This week we are in the D.C. area. We have seen Arlington cemetary, the Smithsonian Air and Space museum, and the Washington Monument. Today we are going on a Senate tour.
As far as our preparations go for heading to Indonesia, we now have two crates entirely filled, inventoried and closed. We are going to build a third crate in which to keep the remainder of our stuff. Now, we are just trying to figure out what needs to gets in there.
This Saturday we are off to Arkansas. When there we will be saying goodbye to our family and friends. I'm sure this will be a difficult time for us as we part for four years. Then again, I think how blessed we are compared to missionaries in the old days, when going to the field meant you most likely would not see your loved ones again. We, on the other hand, can hop on a plane and come home at anytime.
