Wow, it’s been a long time since there has been an update on here. So much has happened in the past few weeks. I have finally been turned loose to fly around Borneo on my own. Since then, I have been flying people, pigs, chickens, cement, rice, and stuff all over the place.
I have also had my first experience spending the night in an interior village. We have a newsletter coming out in a few weeks that will tell you a lot more detail about this adventure. In the meantime I will keep you in suspense.
This coming week we will spend Thanksgiving with good friends here. We look forward to the yummy food. Of course, it won’t be the same as it would be if we were in the States with our family.
After that we plan to go to Jakarta for a few days to unwind and get some quality medical check-ups. We do have a hospital and Dr. here, but the Dr. is not yet very experienced, and we just wanted to get someone else’s opinion on how the pregnancy is progressing. It will be good to get off of our island for a few days and visit a much more Western city.
