Bugs, bugs, bugs

If only I had a picture of every interesting bug that I've seen in the last few years. This bug I just happened to find on the windshield of an airplane. They have the coolest bugs here.

Another Sad Day

Today, I learned that my friend Kris Yanto was killed in a fall. Kris lived in the jungle village of Binuang. He is someone who loved the Lord, and was a strong believer in the ministry of MAF. He was one of our airstrip agents, which means that at the village of Binuang he handled all the passengers ticketing, unloading and loading the airplane, and made all the weather reports on the radio to pilots. He has called me up several times asking me to come pick up someone injured who needed a medical evacuation flight.

I will miss Kris, but I'm thankful to know that he is now with the Lord. Please pray for his family.

Sometimes You Have an Itch That You Just Have to Scratch

Shrews

The last couple weeks it hasn't been mice or rats in our house but shrews. We have been able to trap three of them in the last few weeks, and we are hoping that there are no more. They look a lot like a mouse, but the nose is much longer.
